Foundation Elects New Executive Officers

The Olean City School District Foundation board of directors announced the election of new executive officers at its annual meeting this May.

Steve Pancio has been elected president of the foundation for the 2015-2016 term. A graduate of Olean High’s Class of 1978, Mr. Pancio succeeds Adam Bennett (’06), who will remain on the board after stepping down as president following a three year term. Mr. Pancio has been a member of the foundation board since 2006, and previously served as president from 2009-2012.

Janine Scholla has been elected vice president of the foundation. Mrs. Scholla is a retired teacher from the Olean City School District and has been an active member of the foundation since 2013. She also serves on the foundation’s Marketing/Fundraising Committee and will chair the Acadmic Wall of Fame Committee as VP. Mrs. Scholla replaces David Carucci (’78), who spent the last six years as vice president and will remain on the board.

Lauren Stuff was elected board secretary for the 2015-2016 term. A current staff specialist at Cattaraugus-Allegany BOCES, Miss Stuff has been a member of the foundation since 2013. She also serves on the board’s Marketing/Fundraising Committee. Miss Stuff replaces Anita Schmidt, who will remain on the board following a three year stint as secretary.

Daniel Stetz was re-elected as board treasurer for the 2015-2016 term. This will be Mr. Stetz’s second year as board tresurer. A retired teacher from the Olean City School District, Mr. Stetz has served on the board since 2011, and is also a member of the Academic Wall of Fame Committee.

The Olean City School District Foundation is a non-profit volunteer organization that raises money to enhance the educational experience for students in the district.
