Eric A. Storch, Ph.D.
Class of 1993
Dr. Eric Storch graduated from Olean High in 1993 and later received his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Binghamton University in 1997. He would later earn his M.S., M.PHIL., and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University.
Dr. Storch is currently an assistant professor of psychiatry and pediatrics at the University of Florida’s College of Medicine. He has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles on Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and related topics, a book on childhood OCD, and has received numerous grants from foundations and the United States government.
During his time at Binghamton University, Dr. Storch was a 4-year Varsity Letterwinner for the soccer team. He was named to the State University of New York All-Athletic Conference Team as a senior. Dr. Storch was also named a NSCAA College Scholar All-American.
Dr. Storch attributes much of his success to his academic and athletic experience as a student at Olean High.
